Jacqueline Fernandez is a new L.A. transplant and she’s already after Steven Spielberg’s job!  However, since she’s only 29, she’s willing to give that dream some time and focus on Masa Revolution.

Jax started her journalism career in Miami, Florida.  She earned her M.A. in TV, Film and Radio at The Newhouse School at Syracuse University.  Jax is an adventure seeker.  She drove cross-country, from New York to California, in an insane four-day journey.  She enjoys reporting, but craves more creative outlets.  Her hobbies range from improv acting and ballet to watching bad reality TV shows.

This girl gets around! Jax was born in Takoma Park, Maryland and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Fort. Walton Beach and Miami, Florida. It was difficult transitioning between cities and cultures as a child, but Jax now credits those experiences with developing her creativity.  She’s bilingual and has the uncanny ability to hit regional accents dead on!

Jax’s starting the project as a food truck virgin.  She brings her fresh perspective, sense of humor and cultural insight to the Masa Revolution team.
