Jules Rivera
Artist/Animator

Artist/Animator, Jules Rivera, is the creative genius behind the animated open for Masa Revolution: The Backstreet to The American Dream.  We can’t give too much away, but the illustration follows portable food through time from Mesoamerica before the Spanish conquest to food trucks in East Los Angeles.

Formerly a degreed engineer and defense contractor, Jules went on to study 2D illustration and animation at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects.

Jules has worked as a sequential illustrator and pin up artist with several independent comics publishers, including Action Lab Entertainment and ComixTribe, and with the animation studio ADHD.  She has also self-published several graphic novel series, including Valkyrie Squadron and Misfortune High.

Jules began her journey as a freelance illustrator, sequential artist, and graphic novelist in 2006, and is based out of Los Angeles.
