David Green is the film composer for Masa Revolution. The musician/composer from Los Angeles.  After graduating from UCLA  — where he studied ethnomusicology — David went on to co-found the seminal LA Latin Alternative band, Los Abandonados/The Abandoned.  With the group, he toured ceaselessly around the United States and Mexico, releasing two EPs before signing to Neil Young’s label Vapor Records and recording the full-length album, Mixtape.

Subsequent to the band’s break up, David received a Latin Grammy nomination for his work on Ceci Bastida’s album, Veo La Marea.  NPR did a story about the Mexican-born singer in early 2011.

David’s music has been featured on countless movies, commercials and TV shows including NBC’s Parenthood, Showtime’s Dexter and many more.
