Prior to serving as legal counsel on Masa Revolution, David designed, drafted and negotiated Branded Entertainment, Digital Media and Sponsorship deals for Toyota. He negotiated Brand Integration deals with NBC, ABC, Fox, Bravo, Discovery, New Line and The Sundance Channel, and he was named “Toyota’s Outstanding Consultant” for saving Toyota over $500,000 in structuring and closing Brand Integration Deals.

Prior to Toyota, David served as VP, Business Affairs at CBS Paramount International Television and as the Head of Business Affairs for CBS Broadcast International and King World International Productions. At CBS, David drafted and negotiated International Distribution deals for CBS and King World television shows as well as for Paramount feature films. Additionally, David drafted and negotiated International Format Production deals for Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and America’s Next Top Model, and distribution deals worldwide for The Oprah Winfrey Show and Dr. Phil. Early in his tenure at CBS, David was responsible for enforcing copyright and trademark protections for Survivor. In this role, David persuaded over 50 infringers of Survivor’s intellectual property to immediately cease their illegal activities.

Prior to joining CBS, David was a Litigation Partner at a major New York law firm where he represented writers and musicians along with large corporate clients.

 

David is a dual US-UK citizen and currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of The British Academy of Film and Television Arts–Los Angeles where he is Co-Chair of the Sponsorship Committee and the Constitution Committee.
